Knowledge on use of the Internet is important in enabling participation in society. Internet literacy is necessary for economic growth, regional development, improved and more efficient care and the use of electronic services between citizens, for the public sector and companies. Knowledge is also significant for users’ confidence in, and understanding of, the services they use on the Internet.

.SE has a number of partial projects  involving people who do not use the Internet in order to gauge their experiences. The idea was to start on a small scale and obtain experience by carrying out the projects. .SE hopes that these projects will become a source of inspiration for other players who can operate similar projects on their own.

Seminar on digital inclusion

On March 24, .SE will host a seminar on digital inclusion. The seminar aims to present the benefits of and need for efforts to increase knowledge of digital inclusion. What can we do to increase digital inclusion in Sweden? What measures are needed? What players exist in Sweden today?
