Register a domain

You may register whatever .se domain you want, as long as it is free, not in the Blocked or Reserved list.

You can check to see if the name you have in mind is free by completing the adjacent field. Once you have decided to register a .se domain name, you should contact one of .SE’s accredited registrars. You will find contact information for all .SE registrars in our registrar list. The registrar will provide you with information about the costs associated with registration and what you need to do.

To register a .se domain you need to contact a certified registrar (reseller accredited by .SE Registry). It is also possible to contact .SE Direkt, which is .SE’s own registrar business. However, .SE Direkt will not provide supplementary commercial services, such as e-mail and web hosting.
